Saturdays, 10AM – 3PM & Sundays, 1PM – 6PM

The “DuckMan” started his career in radio in 1976 in a little town in Alabama where he was attending a military school,, Let’s see, that’s 31 years of broadcasting experience (obviously, he must do it for the money!).

He was born in Alaska, Dad was a Green Beret.  He loves to volunteer, was a key person in putting on the Pleasure Island Seafood Blues & Jazz Festival for 7 years, helped put together the Southern Coastal Bluegrass Festival and is currently working on the Cucalorus Film Festival.  His voice you know and love, but he’s also been known to do a little acting in a few movies, theatre, and recently you can see him in a Blue Cross Blue Shield commercial.  He is currently single and looking so be sure to tune in to his sultry voice! 

Ducky loves the beach and Wilmington too!  He came to be known as “Ducky” because he waddled when he was a toddler.  Aww, how cute!!  Oh, yeah, and in whatever time he has left, he also has a DJ business on the side and specializes in wedding receptions-he’s done well over 300!  Now all that adds up to A LOT of experience!
